HEADstrong Foundation Adds Dr. Daniel Landsburg of Penn Medicine To Board

Philadelphia, PA (January 9, 2026) - Cheryl Colleluori, President of the HEADstrong Foundation, announced today that Dr. Daniel Landsburg has joined the Foundation’s board as an advisor. 

“We are thrilled to welcome Dan to the HEADstrong Board,” Colleluori said. “His incredible work on behalf of the families we serve is nothing short of inspirational. As we continue to expand our reach and strengthen our programs nationwide, Dan’s insight into the daily issues facing families affected by cancer as well as trends in treatment will be an incredible resource.”

The medical director of infusion services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and an associate professor of clinical medicine focusing on hematology-oncology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Landsburg has been involved with HEADstrong both as a volunteer and doctor for many of those that the foundation helps throughout his time at Penn.

“I’m thrilled to have been offered the opportunity to serve on the Board of the HEADstrong Foundation,” Dr. Landsburg said. “I believe that my experience caring for cancer patients will enable me to contribute meaningfully to the Board and help further the HEADstrong Foundation mission to provide support to those diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones.”

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Temple University School of Medicine, Dr. Landsburg serves as a faculty leader in hematology/oncology fellowship quality improvement and patient safety education and the oncology clinical effectiveness team at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a faculty mentor in the department of medicine healthcare leadership in quality residency track there. 

Dr. Landsburg has clinical expertise in B cell lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, autologous stem cell transplantation and CART-19 therapy with research expertise in therapy for large B cell lymphoma, molecular classification of large B cell lymphoma and CART-19 therapy.
